Grant Programs for Food and Groceries

The US Government has many programs which offer grants for food for people with very low incomes or with not so good financial background.

There is an organization called Feeding America which has a Senior Grocery grant program and with this program provides financial help and food for older adults who have difficulties in providing food for them.

Commodity Distribution Program offers information on food programs, such as eligibility and application and also food sheets and recipes for healthy diets. People who live on Indian Reservations and also native American families can receive help in purchasing food with the Food Distribution on Indian Reservations (FDPIR). It offers food for these people which can be delivered in areas near their place of living.
